High Summer

 

Shot on a recent trip to Jamaica by Paris-based photographer Sylvain Sey, our latest editorial spotlights summer-ready pieces from the Carhartt WIP S/S19 collection. Predominantly backdropped by Hellshire Beach, near in Portmore, this spot is a favorite Sunday hangout for the locals, with its fried fish and impressive soundsystem drawing in everyone from dancehall afficonados to families.

 

 

With the help of Liza Mazur, a local, Sey sought out to capture those from the spirit of the area, snapping venerated OGs and those part of the local creative scene, from musicians to singers and stylists.
