Detroit-Berlin: One Circle will be celebrating its debut from the 30th of May until the 2nd of June.
The festival is set to explore the intense relationship between Germany's capital and Michigan's Motor City, through the evolution of techno and beyond. Although the bulk of it is taking place at Hebbel am Ufer (HAU), Carhartt WIP proudly presents a heavy hitting club night during the festival at one of Berlin's most important Techno clubs, Tresor. The night, subtitled The Potential, will tap into the deep musical connection between Detroit's John Collins and DJ Skurge of Underground Resistance, as well as Eddie Fowlkes and Berlin's Mark Ernestus, founder of the Hard Wax record shop, and Tresor residents Magda El Bayoumi, Madalba and Mischa. Hard Wax' Finn Johannsen and Frinda Di Lanco will round things off at Tresor's Aurora Bar. Learn from Detroit – Learn from Berlin.
