Paris: 10th Syncrophone anniversary
- Date published
To paint the town red they invited two unique house artists from overseas to perform. New Jersey based Strength Music Recordings boss DJ QU, who is globally known for his rhythmic, dark, stripped-down house productions, comes to Paris to drop rhythms that come straight from the heart, mind and soul. Also, his fellow countryman Steven Tang is famous for inimitable house music. The Hong Kong native that is living in Chicago since 1981 releases music on platforms like his own label Emphasis Recordings or the hosts imprint Syncrophone Recordings since 1998. In the last years he gained world-wide attention due to his first solo album Disconnect To Connect and an EP on the Hamburg based record company Smallville Records, that contributed to Carhartt WIP Radio with a mesmerising show in October 2013. In Paris Tang will play a rare live show. Beside the two North American guests Synchrophone owner Didier Allyne, producer and Synchrophone A&R John Sill and long standing Parisian DJ Blaise round up the unique line-up of a bash in the name of house music.
The celebrations are backed by a 11-track Synchrophone compilation. Below a Soundcloud link that gains some first insights into the music.
