“The collective aims to develop initiatives that integrate skateboard culture into the urban and semi-urban through :
- The creation and construction of skateboarding areas and mixed urban spaces;
- Expert advice, consultation and help on building sites;
- Training for helpers in skateboarding and construction of skateboarding areas;
- Organising events linked to skateboarding.
Our philosophy is to make sure that skateboarders – who live in the city and bring it to life – are directly involved in our work. Besides, our activities also involve:
- Spreading information and connecting the different skateboard communities;
- Organising cultural events (concerts, exhibitions, film projections…) in a bid to spread “skateboard culture”;
- Setting up design, creation and construction workshops of skateboard areas or skatepark elements with the youth;
- Organising “sport” events (such as skate sessions, lessons, skate camps, or competitions);
- Helping the youth to be autonomous in: project management, animation and construction, and the general upkeep of the area.”
