Being hosted by Jean Sebastian Gueze (Carhartt Asia) and the crew of the first Thai skateboard company Preduce, they are travelling from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and back. Part of the trip is a demo-session taking place on wednesday, the 10th of June at “The Ramp Skatepark” in Bangkok at 18:00h! Bertrand Trichet, who is guiding the boys, is documenting the trip photographywise. Philippe Petit (cinematographer from Paris, not to be mistaken with the identically named french high wire acrobat) is filming the last bits for his documentary movie about David Martelleur on this trip! After seeing the first parts of his work on the Konbini Show “Support Me“ (which can unfortunately only be seen in France), we are really looking forward to the final film!
About Preduce Skateboards:
Preduce is the first thai skateboard company. It was created in 2004. The idea behind Preduce skateboards was to create a company made by skateboarders for skateboarders in Thailand to help really talented local skaters and develop the skate scene here. In July 2006, Preduce opened it’s first flagship store in Siam square in Bangkok and it was an instant success. It was followed by a 2nd shop in Bangkok in a mall on Ratchada with an indoor skate park next to it in August 2007. Preduce hardware and apparel has since started to be distributed internationally as well. Preduce released a first video, “Smooth”, in 2005 and after three years of extensive filming and traveling we are about to release our 2nd video, “Sambai“, in June 2009.
