Carhartt WIP opened its first store in Rome on April 29th, adding to a total of five stores in Italy. Situated in the center of the capital at Palazzo Raggi, a historic 18th century building found between the Italian parliament and Piazza di Spagna, the store carries the men’s collection, as well as collaborations and special projects.
To mark its opening, an in-store event was hosted on April 28th with music curated by Frissón, a listening bar and art space in the city. The series of live DJ sets included Prest b2b XL Regular, Luca Collepiccolo, and Claudio Maura aka Juniper.
Additionally, Carhartt WIP created a small selection of store-exclusive products for the opening and, in collaboration with Honda Dio, shot an editorial in the city that pays tribute to Rome’s scooter culture.
