Subbacultcha, the all-encompassing, independent, Belgian music blog and magazine and has devoted its past since seven years to music and art with a special twist. To celebrate their birthday, they’ll be bringing some of the finest acts in unconventional music to Brussels’ lovely Beursschouwburg venue – presented by Carhartt WIP.
For live action, Berlin-based producer Soraya Lutangu aka Bonaventure will preform her raw, agitated, politically-charged music, where big bass spheres meet the heavy rattling rhythms of the Swiss-Congolese producer. The other live act of the night will be the one-of-a-kind autotune cowboy Quintano, who is part of Blegium's Slagwerk posse. His playful approach to hip-hop comes manifests in a melting-pot of Baantjer-samples, EDM, ironic trap singing and ambient frequencies.
More odd groove sensations will be delivered from the DJ booth by local heroes Lait de Coco, LIYO b2b bb.zip, and Wu-Tangu b2b Golce Dabbana. Together, they form a bunch of sound enthusiasts that go far beyond the usual party sounds, mixing techno, trap, hip hop, reggaeton and other forms of bass-laden party sensations. Come by, dance the night away.
