London: moving future soul at Deviation

For Deviation edition 77 Benji B invited Seven Davis Jr The trained gospel vocalist grown up with the music of Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder. Since he discovered house he melts his musical heritage with four-on-the-floor rhythms to create future soul music that reminds a bit of the early works of Peven Everett. When Seven Davis Jr performs, his voice guides all dancers with soul while his rhythms let them jack like crazy. 

The other guests of the evening are J Rocc and Goldlink. The former is the late J Dilla’s decksman. He comes by to scratch and show that he is still one of the world’s most skilled hip hop DJs - technically and in terms of selection. The latter is an aspiring rapper from the United States whose sound mixes the grooves of nineties R&B with classic hip hop breaks to give it an essence of nostalgia. As usual Deviation MC Judah will urge the crowd to move and groove all night long.
