If you never danced to it: this Friday Silly Walks Discotheque teach a lesson in Dancehall, but also in traditional Reggae and some Tropical tunes.
For this they invited some friends from Jamaica and France, to celebrate a bash that is more then your average Reggae party.
Beside Soul Stereo from Paris and Mikey General, the Briton who is famous for his conscious lyrics since more then 20 years, Jepther McClymont aka Luciano will hit the stage.
The so called Jah Messenjah from Jamaica takes Stevie Wonder, Frankie Paul and Reggae singer Dennis Brown as a pattern. Thats why he sings like a gentleman, even if he tells storys full of religious content.
But whatever he preach – at first he like to see the people dance to his fast dynamic rhythms.
So be fore sure that the bash will be no children’s birthday party and be ready for some socio-critical Dancehall grooves.
