From 10th to the 12th of October Carhartt presents the festival in front of the National Palace of Culture. Urbanize will give young artists the chance to create their own space away from defined gallery frames to demonstrate street life as their way of life and inspiration.
Urbanize shows street art, music, dance, skate, bmx, workshops, and many surprises inspired from the street dynamic. Artist from all over Europe including Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Russia, Turkey, England, Poland, Italy, Greece, and of course Bulgaria will drop by to show their skills.
It’s an armada of artists and active people to show up of all different disciplines. Sebastian Grubinger, Joe Fox, and Michael Sommer will represent part of the Carhartt BMX Team as well will Andy Luger and Mario Winsberger for the Skate Team. Eddy Ramich (of Eddy & Yannah, Compost Records) and Preddy will take care of musical delights and internationally worshiped photographer Georg Oberlechner will document everything.
Art will be presented by Sat One, Nyvhos, Das, Dran, Koes, Aryz, Shione, Zmogk, Ozone, Tone 2002, Nasimo, Bozko, Esteo, Szc, Porn, and Funne. DJs like Chaves, Jamezbongg, Tokka, and more will hit the decks and bands like Leepra De Lux, Shadow Box will share the stage with Breakdance performances of Monstribe and visuals by Phromatik Lab.
