Gijón: L.E.V. Festival
- Date published
10 avr. 2013
This year's line-up offers anew a bunch of artists that bridge the gap between avant-garde and pop. The Briton Jon Hopkins introduces his deeply arresting new album Immunity. Furthermore the English electronic musician Clark performs his latest Warp longplayer Iradelphic and the American electronic wizard Oneohtrix Point Never his heavy synth-driven blend of HipHop, Drone, and Ambient. Also the London based duo Raime, who recently cause quite a stir with their label Blackest Ever Black, melt Ambient and Drone with their very own interpretation of Dark Wave. More highly acclaimed artists that travel down to the city at the Gulf of Biscay are Tim Hecker, Andy Stott, Kid606, Pye Corner Audio, and John Roberts - who will perform his soon to be released record Fences for the first time in Spain.
Shortly more detailed information about the festival that connects visual arts and electronic music.
For now a little video teaser and the recommendation to buy a ticket as soon as possible.
