Themed Seen and Stolen, Schiko collected 300 pieces out of his numerous works, which are documenting his multi-facetted shots from the last 20 years. A collection of art proving doubtlessly that he is a true master of his business.
The pictures include shots for Carhartt as well as a wide range of musicians, natural born freaks, exclusive events and all sorts of places and symbols that crossed his path of live. All shots are done in the typical Schiko way: strictly analog while 90% of the art is in black and white.
All in all a huge retrospective of a German underground culture photographer, that has an eye for small details, situations beside the main spot and the right touch for natural emotions. He seems to have the perfect gift to make small things look big, to keep the spectator stunned in front of the image.
As the famous photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson once said: A good Photo is a Photo, on which you look longer then a second! When you take a look at Schikos pics you will know what he’s talking about.
