The 313 area code carries a lot of significance. It represents the ruggedness of Detroit, encompassing the neighboring city of Dearborn and the southern quadrant of Michigan State, the birthplace of the Carhartt brand. This Spring/Summer 2016, we turned to our roots for inspiration and honored the three numbers that put Carhartt WIP on the map.

The latest capsule pays tribute to our beginnings and a place from where we draw much of our influence to this day. We updated our longstanding camouflage by blending it with Area 313 typography for a re-imagined seasonal pattern. On each item in the collection, the 313 emblem is both a badge of honor and design element, scattered across shorts or on the front of a shirt.
