Sustainability-focused music festival Terraforma is back with a three-day program featuring experimental music, art, lectures and workshops.
The theme for 2023 is inspired by Don and Moki Cherry’s ‘organic music society’, which saw the duo teaching classes, holding concerts, and collaborating with fellow artists in southern Sweden during the 60s. In line with this, Terraforma is co-organizing a series of matinèe lectures and concerts with arts project Blank Forms, in addition to recreating a new geodesic dome for exhibitions and workshops.
Included in the program is the Glasgow producer and DJ Hudson Mohawke, Donato Dozzy B2B with Marco Shuttle, and Timedance label founder Batu, amongst many others.
This year will also see the return of the Vaia Stage, which was constructed using wood from fallen trees affected by storm Vaia in 2018. This stage is supported by Carhartt WIP, was designed by architecture studio Space Caviar and features artists like UK avantgardist Beatrice Dillon, French producer OKO DJ b2b Belgian DJ Nosedrip, cellist Patrick Belaga, and legendary reggae guitarist, bass player and record producer Dennis Bovell amongst others.
