Founded by Daniel Schmid and Juergen Bluemlein, two idealistic Skateboarders who have collected innumerable skateboard items from all over the world, the museum is the only one of its kind. Having a strong relation to the Museum, it was a natural move for us to do a clothing piece for them. The Carhartt & Skateboard Museum T-Shirts come in white, grey heather and black, and include a sticker-bag with 15 different stickers, exclusively designed by Stefan Marx. The T-shirts are available NOW (!) over the Skateboard Museum and at Carhartt Stores all over Europe.

Apart from the work at the Museum itself, Daniel and Juergen have organized numerous skateboarding exhibitions all over the world and just had the premiere of their book project: “MADE FOR SKATE, The Illustrated History of Skateboard Footwear”, tells the stories behind the shoes that carried skateboarding through its colorful history. The 400 page book comes in full color, english language, hardcover and is being published on Gingko Press. After the first premiere in Amsterdam at the Nike pop-up Store, “Made for Skate” will be shown this weekend at the Bright Tradeshow in Frankfurt, we’re looking forward to see the final piece! The book will reach the stores within the next weeks, it will be available over the Museum itself, Gingko Press, Nike Shoes and and at Carhartt stores and will cost about 45 €.
