Carhartt WIP x Noods Radio Present: Avon Moot

With May Day round the corner, we’ve partnered with Noods Radio to present Avon Moot, a three-day program featuring live music, folklore, and cult film.

The series kicks off on Thursday 27th April with an event at Carhartt WIP Store Bristol from 6-9pm. Expect a live performance from neo-medieval music act O.G. Jigg and DJ sets from Bristol-based selector Tilly. A limited amount of free Carhartt WIP x Noods t-shirts will be given to the first people through the door. Mask-maker Moving Face will be also transforming the store’s window display in the week leading up to the event.

On Sunday 30th April, Noods Radio will offer a full day of programming from its home in Mickey Zoggs, playing everything from original field recordings to psychedelic rock and freak folk. Featuring Cabaret Voltaire founding member Chris Watson and Spanish DJ Alicia Carrera, who runs the label Maga Circe Musica with Italian DJ and producer Donato Dozzy.

The final day will feature two film screenings at The Cube Microplex from 7-10pm. The first is Derek Jarman’s A Journey to Avebury, rescored and performed live by Quade. Paul Wright’s Arcadia will follow, featuring an original score from Adrian Utley (Portishead) & Will Gregory (Goldfrapp).
