Düsseldorf: Lieblingsplatte is back

One of Germany’s best festivals is back in Düsseldorf, bringing six legendary German bands to play their most iconic album live and in full. Berlin's 2raumwohnung presents their creamy electro pop debut album Kommt Zusammen, originally released in 2001. The legendary Hamburg avant-garde pop band Palais Schaumburg will showcase their debut album from 1981, providing dancefloor movements with jigsaw post-punk. Germany's famed rock eminence grise Element Of Crime will perform Weißes Papier, the 1993 album which transformed the group into stars of the German-speaking indie rock scene. The Hanseatic Hip Hop pioneers Fünf Sterne Deluxe have gone back into the rehearsal room to brush up on tracks from their debut Sillium. Meanwhile, Die Nerven from Stuttgart will play, introducing their third album Fun, which offers the finest noise-punk that Germany currently has to offer. Come by, sing along.
