Some call him London’s answer to Madlib, for others he is just a peerless experimental hip hop producer: since his first release on One-Handed Music in 2007 Paul White slowly emerged to a musician that grooves on his very own planet of sound. After releasing four longplayers and producing beats for rappers like Danny Brown, he now dipped with his latest album Shaker Notes into psychedelic electronica and afro-centric jazz. During a little X-mas bash at our Carhartt WIP Square in Rome the Briton will introduce his latest work for the legendary Belgian label R & S Records to his Italian fans. After his show DJ Flor Blackblessed - the man behind the blackblessed blog - will spin his favorite tunes of the year.
