After 5 years of working hard on that project, Kuba Kaczmarczyk and Pawel Piotr Przybyl released their long awaited video entitled "Neverwhere". Filmed in Poland (and one section in Miami), featuring Carhartt WIP team rider Michal Juras among other skilled skateboarders on crazy spots. Hey Michal. You had some bad injuries in the last years. Was it hard to come back and how long took it?
Yeah man it was hard, the worst was knee injury. The rehab took 13 months and when i got back on board it felt really weird, my body was really stiff. Its hard to explain it to someone who never went thru it.
I can imagine. Let's talk about Neverwhere. How long took it to film your part in the video?
Most of the footage was filmed last year. I think it took a year and a half or even two years.
Any plans for the near future? In skateboarding and private?
To buy a car. Haha. Customise my Harley. Marry a beautiful woman.
Right now I am filming my part for the upcoming R5 clip which I am editing. I think it will be finished after winter.
Nice. We are looking forward to see it. Do you have any last words about Neverwhere?
This movie shows how raw grey the polish scene of skateboarding looks like!
Thank you Michal and stay healthy!
