What was all the crowd there for? Why skatepark color was so flashy?? What was all that loud music for? Why were there so many young chicks around? And what the hell were doing all those international skaters around town?
Ok..it was SlamTrick again..the Fergadelic FREAK OUT edition.
After 9 edtion of this contest there is not much more to say about it. Hands down is one of the most succesfull event of the european skateboard summer, but besides artwork changes the skatepark is always the same and of course the event always looks the same, but luckily it looks freaking good..
Some really talented riders even this year..above all, during heat one it was Ben Raemers, this young amateur from the UK who is definetely a ripper!!style style and more style for this 17yrs old kid, who draw lines always with a big smile on his face, and an incredible positive attitude..this guy and his skateboarding are the future.
Talking about future..there was another young kid who showed his skills during heat number 2. his name is Alex Sorgente from the States, he has italian blood in his veins and he is only 10yrs old but got no fear at all..we all noticed that he is used to american concrete big bowls..

The format of the contest unluckily awards technical skaters, but the show is up to the transition skaters.. daniel cardone and his mates from the daggers, sasha steihorst and The Greek showed us some classical old school powerful skateboarding and this is what the crowd liked..may be we all think that next year there should be some changes in judging and may be let the people vote for their favourites.
Best skater of the day was mr dominik dietrich..he landed every trick he tried, super style, super tecnique, we all understood why he got a double page on trasher magazine, this ripper is a trick machine!
Best trick of the day goes to long time slamtrick friend Jo Lorenz, a.k.a. contest entertainer from Germanay with a nollie kickflipto bs 50-50 on the hubba ledge.
Best tech trick of the day goes to Severin von How with a Nollie Heelflip Noseslide to Nollie Heelflip Out on the ledge that no one really saw..thanks to his photographer we have the proof that he made it.
Gnarliest trick of the day goes to Ross Mc Gouran from London, wearing an hippie bandanna perfectly matching Fergadelic’s artwork after a couple of trieswith a transfert on the wall into the quarter in a perfect hippie.
