For Spring/Summer 2019, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with Australian skate brand PASS~PORT. With a shared ethos of hard-work and fostering of community – as well as two team riders, Josh Pall (Sydney, Aus) and Matlok Bennett-Jones (Sheffield, UK) – the collaborative 12-piece collection takes inspiration from the Northern Territory (NT), the central northern region of Australia known for its harsh and barren conditions.
Consequently, dusty hues, taken from the vast red-dirt deserts of the region, and hints of lush green inform the textures and colour palette of this collection. Pieces include a reworked Detroit Jacket, a pant which borrows elements from both the Carhartt WIP Simple Pant and Station Pant, and a sweatshirt, polo shirt and cap, all featuring a custom co-branded logo. This release is also accompanied by three skate decks with original artwork.
