On Friday the 25th we are back in Brooklyn celebrating at Black Flamingo. On the bill: producer Ringgo Ancheta, aka Mndsgn, who was raised with Gospel music at church and B-Boy culture at home in south New Jersey. Whilst experimenting with beat-making, he befriended fellow producer Knxwledge and the two formed the influential Klipmode collective. After moving to Los Angeles, Mndsgn's music flourished and he caught the attention of labels like Stones Throw and Leaving Records, who put out his albums Yawn Zen, Surface Outtakes, and Body Wash. In Brooklyn he will enter the DJ booth to deliver a unique mix of twisted contemporary R&B, electronic, funk, soul and downtempo. Alongside him, rising Toronto producer Beat Sampras will showcase his masterful mix of silky R&B with ambient and trap. Local chill-funk support comes from Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Cobrayama and Black Flamingo resident Toribio. Come by, dance slow.
