Since its launch in 2007 the Anglo/German independent label Erased Tapes Records likes it multidimensional. Their Carhartt WIP Radio show is a proof for this as well as their release policy that longs from avant-garde classical landscapes and left field electronics to danceable bass productions and straight up Indie rock. Now Erased Tapes published the first collaborative work by the American musician Peter Broderick and the British composer Greg Haines. The record is called Greg Gives Peter Space and it features six acoustic dub influenced tracks enriched with cool drum machine rhythms, heavy bass eruptions and spaced out analoge synth emotions. All compositions have been mixed live by two artists who love to talk with music to each other. The artwork comes from the German graphic designer and comic book artist Henning Wagenbreth who drawn a spaced out vision of the entire album. Below a little teaser video that captures the graphical and musical spirit. To accompany the release Carhartt WIP and Erased Tapes Records produced a limited t-shirt. You can get it here.
