In 2010 the hazy Synth-Pop trio started to record some tracks out of a jamming situation and after posting two murky demos to bandcamp, the group was instantly picked up by the Brooklyn, NY based label Captured Tracks. With their self-titled debut longplayer they released in 2011 one of the most compelling albums in the field of gloomy female fronted shoegaze Pop. Their songs remind likewise to such bands as Broadcast, Mazzy Star, Young Marble Giants, The xx, or Cocteau Twins and stay totally individual tough.
Now they present their engaging 80s-tinged music during their first European tour and upcoming Saturday they stop at Colognes finest tiny live club King Georg - the right place to feel their dusky sounds reel deep. To give a little foretaste here a found footage video of their song Videotapes covered by a smoke screen. Enjoy and if you are not close to Cologne check the rest of their tourdates through little clubs - in the future they will hit bigger stages. You betcha!
