Their first longplayer is called Other People's Problems and the four-piece band filled it with manipulated guitars, bass, synths, drums, and strings to deliver a truly original mélange of HipHop, Electronica, Indiepop, and cinematic soundscapes.
Before Breton start to write their irresistible avant-songs they let their creativity freewheeling as film-makers and produced some cutting-edge video and sound design for the likes of The Temper Trap and Tricky. In their in South East London home, an old shut down bank now named “bretonLABS”, they start to produce music of many different stylistic resources. Before they joined Fat Cat Records, the band already released some critically acclaimed EPs on the labels Strange Torpedo Records and the famous dubstep imprint Hemlock. Without the aim of making an album with 11 singles they produced one that experiments while staying catchy at any time.
