KING OF WOOD 10.07. - 12.07.2009!

Since 6 years now one of the biggest contests happening in France is the King of Wood. Rouen’s local skatepark organizes this contest and increases the level year after year. This year the Skatepark of Rouen invites Skateboarders from all over the world again for the 7th edition of the King of Wood. The event, who has become one of Europe’s biggest skater-run events, is an open Pro and Am Contest and has no restrictions to the nationality of the participants. The Skatepark of Rouen has been founded and is run by skateboarders and is known for its fun and laid-back atmosphere. The park consists of a 1200 m² street course and a 400 m² bowlarea, which are both being reshaped for the contest. The skateboarders will be competing for 10.000 € prize money. Besides the competition, there will be BBQs, Parties and Live Bands playing.
