Casio Blaster and 99 Mistakes aka 1000names are already around since a while but managed to stay under the radar in order to produce peerless tracks beyond big media attention. When they discovered the Hip Hop culture in the late nineties they start to play records together. A while later they began to experiment with samples and juggle with rhythms – a science that especially Casio Blaster been into since long time as a drummer in different Bulgarian Jazz and Funk bands. In 2008 they released their first 7inch Monobinate/Run! Dont Walk on the French label Eklektik Music followed by one more 12inch and their debut longplayer Toys Room Combat. With their second album Illuminated Man on the British Dubstep label Black Acre they released one of the most underrated instrumental Hip Hop and experimental IDM records of the last year. For Carhartt Radio they now produced a show charged with a string of brand new tracks that soon will hit the stores. To back their awesome mix we had a chat with the two funny guys from lovely Sofia.
