Leipzig: Apron meets Eglo records
- Date published
12 nov. 2019
The Leipzig based party serial Vary invites two boys from London who like soulful music with a deep, contemporary edge. Apron records head-honcho Steven Julien, aka Funkineven, will bring the sound of his label to the Germany city, mixing Acid, techno, house, broken beat and the more abstract leaning sounds of club music. In contrast, Alexander Nut, the man behind the label Eglo records, which he launched together with Floating Points in 2009, will introduce a more organic approach to dance music, peppering his house- and techno-leaning set with jazz, soul and funk from the past and present. For local support, DJ I$A will warm up the night with calm, yet gently pulsating rhythms.
