Recently the Munich based label Permanent Vacation published the third edition of their compilation If This Is House I Want My Money Back, featuring tracks by artists such as the Swedish funster Axel Bomann, Irish soon to be DJ superstar Mano Le Tough, as well as Willie Burns or Octo Octa from the USA. To celebrate the release they host their first party at Mixed Munich Art. Beside the Permanent Vacation boys Tom Bioly and Benjamin Fröhlich Lake People will perform live. Since 2001 the Leipzig based trio thrills the club scene with haunting releases on labels like Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Connaisseur Recordings or Permanent Vacation. Their way of playing repetitive 4/4 beats, drum machines rhythms and synthesized basslines matches perfect with the vision of Permanent Vacation about house that grooves across the grain.
