The idyllically located racecourse in the Grafenberg forest of Düsseldorf is the perfect location for an ideal summer festival, with four stages amid leafy surroundings. This years edition will feature the latest trends in clubbing and pop culture – open and diverse, dynamic and innovative, experimental and substantial. A trademark that fits perfectly to the history of the town Düsseldorf from where bands like Kraftwerk once revolutionized the music world. Last year more than 5.000 visitors from all over Europe came by and enjoyed more than 35 bands, DJs, and sound systems. This year's program features the German soul earl Max Herre and his Kahedi Radio Orchestra. They will play an unplugged show that features guests like Joy Denalane, Afrob, or Grace. Furthermore Hercules and Love Affair will introduce their new album The Feast Of The Broken Heart and electronic producer Panda Bear - a quarter of the experimental psychedelic band Animal Collective - comes by to perform his latest longplayer, too. In addition last year's critic favorite Dean Blunt plays a rare festival show beside some more quiet and intimate artists such as Koreless or Douglas Dare. For German hip hop devotees underground heroes Retrogott & Hulk Hodn deliver winking rhymes and with Young Wolf some of the most promising young musicians from Düsseldorf perform amongst many others.
