If architechture can overwhelm with wonder Rome's Auditorium Parco della Musica, designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano, is one of those buildings that have the ability to do so. Once again the Meet In Town Festival is located in the impressive multi-functional public music complex to fete exceptional music. During the opening night three guys are in charge of a super sharp Disco, Funk, and Synth-Wave attack. Their names are Lindstrøm, Dam-Funk, and Com Truise and they come by to celebrate a whale of a party. For the second day it is hard to point out a true headliner. Afrika Bambaataa is a Hip Hop legend that is always worth to listen, Squarepusher a one of a kind musician on his own sound planet, and James Blake the Dubstep shooting star of last year. Beside them the French Pop oddball Sébastien Tellier presents his stirring new album My God Is Blue, London's new alternative Indiepop sensation Breton perform their first Italian Festival show, and late at night Theo Parrish spins House, Disco, Soul, and Techno back to back with his fellow Detroit based countryman Marcellus Pittman.
