Germany: Modeselektor attack the Melt! Festival

This year we are once again involved – but only one night when our friends from Modeselektor celebrate their own Melt!Selektor bash on a single stage.
Themselves will play a unique gig, because the Duo exclusively join forces with Berlin based Indierock band Bonaparte. Together they perform a concert like they never did before. Imagine a dog and pony show with real fat basslines and extra catchy Pop vocals.
Beside the curators also Four Tet, Jamie XX from the whizz kids The XX, and Black Rose perform live. The later are Jesse Rose and Henrik Schwarz – two highly acclaimed dance music producers with two different stylistic approachs. Schwarz is known for smooth kicking House that is deeply rooted in Jazz. Also the Briton Rose was raised on Motown Soul, Jazz and eighties Funk. In his own productions he blends all this with a more harder style of House. On stage they will lump together all their knowledge and mix it into ultra moving dancefloor science.
After the concerts the DJs Jackmaster, Skate, Mala, Martyn, and Kode 9 will play the latest Dubstep, Techno, and Electro anthems until dawn.
If you want to get an impression of how all this might sound just listen to the latest Carhartt Radio edition from Modeselektor. It will make you sweat and gives a portent of things to come at the Melt! Festival this Friday.
