The magic Mass in the name of sound will happen at the first MIT Festival, which takes place in all areas of Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica.
Those who follow this blog on a regulary base know that the Festival features artists like Bugge Wesseltoft & Henrik Schwarz, Soap & Skin with ensemble, Wild Beasts, Hudson Mohawke, Metro Area, or Dam Funk.
We forgot to tell that also John Cale do a tribute to the former The Velvet Underground chanteuse Nico. Definitely a concert where you will hear some classics of the legendary American Rock band in a new shape.
Beside this Lisa Gerrad, former singer of the Australian melancholic Goth heroes Dead Can Dance, sing some of her tragic classic influenced Songwriter nuggets.
Another highlight will be the show of Coco Rosie. Because the American sisters Bianca Coco and Sierra Rosie Casady introduce their upcoming new album Grey Oceans for the first time live in Italiy.
So if you believe in the power of music and you are accidentally in Rome next Sunday, pass by and celebrate another kind of Mass.
