Founded in 2006, the Munich-based imprint has never focused on one sort of style. Instead the man of action, Tom Bioly and Benjamin Fröhlich, released old and new Disco, Electronic, House, Pop, and even some Bossa Nova, Jazz, and New Wave.
Next weekend they celebrate the first Permanent Vacation release of Tensnake. The producer from Hamburg already caused some attention with records on labels like the Japanes imprint Endless Flight or Running Back from Germany.
On his EP Coma Cat he now blends old Disco traditions with modern production styles. And this enriched with bells, congas, or some innocently vocals. Overall music that makes you smile and dance simultaneously.
So if you want to have a laugh and also search for some motion, come around to Elli Disco and party with the Permanent Vacation folks.
