Portugal: Neopop Electronic Music Festival

This week some of the leading artists of the international House and Techno movement travel to the little town Viana do Castelo in the north of Portugal to celebrate a three day bash in the name of electronic club music.

At the first night the French producer Vitalic will deliver his vision of melody driven Electro-House. The headliner of the night is Ellen Allien, Berlin’s queen of Techno. Beside some fresh club anthems the head of the label BPitch Controll will play extracts of her latest album Dust.

At the second night the four piece band Cobblestone Jazz will show that Techno can be Jazz. On top of that producer and DJ Ben Klock, resident of the famous club Berghain, plays one of his relentless Techno sets.

At the final night Anja Schneider, boss of the label Mobilee Records, delivers one of her deeply moving Minimal House journeys. Furthermore Adam Beyer from Sweden will keep all ravers moving with loop-driven Techno.

All in all a perfect line-up for all those souls who like to get lost in high energy dance music.
