We speak to French photographer Viktor Vauthier about developing his aesthetic, working with Virgil Abloh, and why he views himself as a storyteller. Lensed by Ella Jazz, Viktor wears items from the Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 18 Master Craft collection.
The Carhartt WIP Store Exclusive capsule draws inspiration from sleek sportswear, and melds it with a classic Carhartt WIP-aesthetic. Combining much-loved items and fabrics – like our Hamilton Brown canvas and military fatigue pants – with items like popover jackets and trackpants, executed in a lightweight, water-repellent ‘pongee’ fabric, this collection provides the perfect blend of past and present – and a little bit of future too. Lensed by Simky Cheung in Hong Kong.
The humble, relaxed-fit five pocket pant has been subtly reconfigured for this season. Created in a variety of washes, there’s subtle woven patch detailing on the rear pocket – a detail revived from early Carhartt WIP collections – a touch of slouchy 90s styling, and classic hard-wearing denim fabrics.
Blending everyday staples with premium cotton jersey, our Chase program sees a selection of items created with subtle Carhartt WIP embroidered logo detailing and seasonal pops of color. This latest drop from our Spring/Summer 2018 collection includes vibrant hues of orange and teal, as well as more muted options.
