This week’s edit focuses on garments geared for winter. Robust parkas are presented alongside Carhartt WIP classics, and styled with understated mid-layers: The Clash Parka, which is based on a classic M-51 fishtail, is layered here with the Volta Vest Liner. Both items are from our ever-evolving Military program, and are offset by pops of orange adorned with our seasonal real tree camouflage, as well as a staple sweatshirt in a muted off-white color.
The Fairmount Coat is an evolution of our classic Michigan Coat – one of the most archetypally Carhartt WIP garments. In this form, it is lent a sense of seasonality through pile detailing at the collar and a pile-lined body for added warmth. Here, it is worn over an understated corduroy shirt, with loose Newel chino pants and our recent collaboration with Clarks, which saw us rework the iconic Wallabee Boot.
The OG Chore Coat is a robust outer layer with a diamond quilted blanket lining. Probably the lightest of the three outerwear options presented, it’s ideal for in-between days, when it’s neither too hot or cold. Thanks to its relaxed OG fit, it can also be worn comfortably with more layers underneath, in the event of inclement weather.
