Carhartt Festival summer: C/O Pop

June 19, 2011

Cologne go bananas because another four hot days and nights of C/O Pop will take place. We back two exceptional parties during this years Festival.

The first one is the traditional Cómeme ball. This year the wild South American bunch of DJs and producers open the Festival with a bash at Stadtgarten. For sure Cómeme headhoncho Matias Aguayo performs live and plays records on top. Also Rebolledo, the Mexican that drops the hottest basslines since Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean, delivers one of his wild and unpredictable sets. For the first time the young Argentinian DJane and producer Ana Helder comes to Cologne to proof her talent as the freshest House meets Latin lady of South America. Furthermore Phillipp Gorbachev, Diegors, Christian S, Lena Willikens, Korkut Elbay, and Isaac Johan will mix Cumbia, Kwaito, jacking House, Disco, Cosmic, and digital Drum madness for all those who seek for some unheard party energy.

The other bash is taking place just one night later at the recently re-opened club Gewölbe. This time deep House and raw Techno will move all jumpily night-owls. Beside Kompakt DJ Shumi and producer Marcus Worgull, who recently thrills the dancefloors with his brand-new ep Long Way on Innervisions, the Berghain resident Steffi show up to spread some rough Techno emotions.

Two nights that ask out all movers and groovers who are in a good condition. Because you can be fore sure: no bash will stop before the sunrise.
