Manchester: Prime Numbers retrospect

The last year been busy for our friends at Prime Numbers. Now a compilation documents what happend in Manchester during the last twelve month.

Before taking off to a little Australia DJ tour Prime Numbers man in charge David Wolstencroft (picture above) aka Trus Me managed to compile eleven eternal House tracks for those who don’t buy vinyl regularly.

Prime Numbers Vol.2 features a collection of tracks selected from last year’s EP releases combined with some forthcoming material. The tracks perfectly represent what the warm Prime Numbers sound is all about, with productions from artists like Fudge Fingas, Mr Scruff & Kaidi Tatham, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Wireman, and the fabulous Actress.

House music for a better tomorrow, that will soul your party with a deep bass driven sound architecture.

    V Recordings Radio Show

    Exclusively for Carhartt Radio, Kabuki has browsed through the archives at V Recordings and invited Jenna G, to record a show with him. Kabukis Album "Warrior Soul" has just been released on V Recordings and we heartily recommend it to you!

    Since half a decade the Belgian DJ and producer duo Mugwump is good for club music without any stylistic limitation. For Carhartt Radio they mixed a show with their latest remixes and own tracks that is driven by House, Disco, and Techno atmospheres in order to emphasize how emotional contemporary dance music can be.

    Meltselektor Radio Show

    This month we caught up with Modeselektor from Berlin who put together a very special Carhartt Radio show. Instead of presenting just their own material, they mixed a programme with tracks from acts like Martyn or Four Tet – all to get you grooving for the Meltselektor Stage at this year's Melt! Festival.

    Versatile Radio Show

    Since 1996 Versatile Records likes to do mysterious moves while releasing music ranging from House and Techno to Jazz, from Ambient to spaced out Cosmic sounds. For Carhartt Radio Versatile principal Gilb’R mixed a show out of the vital electronic music scene of France.

    Dudley Perkins, the laid-back joker from L.A. is always good for some exceptional Hip Hop lessons. For Carhartt Radio he now gains an insight into the world of his own new label SomeOthaShip Connect!

Label owners, DJs and artists will play, perform and talk about their own music and their backgrounds. That's the intimate amateur view, brought by pros.

The labels and artists involved in this project will represent their own genre in the stream and show the diversity of the musical world we live in.
